European law

European law is the set of legal rules that apply at European level and covers a wide range of issues, including trade agreements, intellectual property, consumer protection, competition, data protection, transparency and governance.

European law also covers citizens' rights at European level, such as the rights of free movement and establishment, the rights to education and health, and the rights to equality and cultural diversity.

Labour law

Labour law is the part of the legal system that deals with the relationship between employees and employers and defines the rights and obligations of each side. Labour law covers issues such as employment contracts, compensation, industrial relations, health and safety at work, labour disputes and collective agreements.

Commercial Law

Commercial law is the part of the legal system that deals with commercial relations between businesses and individuals. Public law is the part of the legal system that deals with the relationship between citizens and the state, as well as the various public entities, such as municipalities, regions, national governments and international organisations.

Public law covers issues such as constitutional principles, administration and administrative procedure, management of public resources, safeguarding citizens' rights and international cooperation.

Criminal law

Criminal law is the part of the legal system that deals with violations of the law and the imposition of sanctions on those who break the law. Criminal law covers a wide range of crimes, such as murder, robbery, fraud and abuse, as well as other offences such as traffic and copyright infringement.
