Attorney-at-law
He was born in Karvounari in the former province of Souli in the year 1959.
He studied at the Law School of Thessaloniki from which he graduated in 1980. In 1982 he was appointed a lawyer in Thesprotia and is a member of the Bar Association to this day, having been promoted to the rank of Attorney at Law. From 1983 until 2012 he was a legal advisor in the joint-stock banking company "Agrotiki Bank", with a break in 1990-1991. From 2012 to 2013 he was legal adviser to the joint-stock banking company "Piraeus Bank" and is currently legal adviser to the company "ATE S.A." in special liquidation.
During his studies, he was a member of the PASP of the Thessaloniki student residences. In Igoumenitsa he joined the PASOK Igoumenitsa Organisation and served as its secretary. In local government he was a community councillor of Karvounari from 1986. In 1999 he was elected to the Municipal Council of Igoumenitsa. From 1999 to 2000 he served as deputy mayor and from 2000 to 2002 he was elected President of the Cultural Organisation of the aforementioned Municipality. He was elected as an independent in 2002-2006 as head of a combination and has not participated in elections since then.
In 1993 and 1996 he was a candidate for PASOK's Parliament in the Prefecture of Thesprotia.
From 1984 to 2004 he served as President of the EPA of Thesprotia.
From 2000 to 2008 he was an elected member of the Board of Directors of the EPO. He served for four years as vice president of EPO, member of the International Relations Committee, head of the UEFA licensing office and UEFA observer for two years.
